WIFI Connection Issues

Recently on my laptop I have been having issues with my WiFi connection. If I am farther than 10 feet from my router, it slows down to a halt. My ping then surges to crazy numbers like 800 or something. Meanwhile, if I am plugged in VIA Ethernet or sitting near my router it acts normally. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue is. I have checked with other devicess in similiar places and this only occurs on my laptop. Also, when I am not near my router/motem it says I still have full bars on the connection.

Sounds like the wifi on your laptop is going. I would try a USB wifi adapter and see if the issue persists. Also, double check that the drivers on your laptop for the wifi are all up to date.
