my pc seems to be having trouble finding my home wifi connection. it will loose the network (even though every other device in the house is still connected and functioning properly) after it looses connection i have to either leave my computer off of the internet for a few days and it will somehow find the network again or reset the modem. I'm not sure why it does this concidering you can find the connection on any other device without having to reset the modem and it will work perfectly on these devices.

Solution
While it may be a hardware issue, I would suggest that you go into the network control panel, select manage wireless networks, and delete your home wireless network from the list, then restart and let it find the signal, select it and reenter your security key. That often fixes the issue.

I will assume that your other devices can connect fine from the location of the problem computer.

What wireless adapter does the computer use?

I guess I am a little confused on what you mean by what adapter I use? We have a netgear modem and I use an updated LAN driver that I downloaded from RealTek. Have not had any issues in regards to the internet issue so far.
