Hi, I have an intel 512An_ HMW wireless card. I freshly installed a windows 7 on my Laptop. When installing windows it obviously installed the driver automatically, and I also updated the driver. Now When im browsing youtube, facebook etc, the wifi turns off automatically, here is the list of things what happens.
1. The Webpage cannot display as there is no internet,
2. I look down and the WiFi led light is off,
3. The WiFi signal has a big red cross and cant detect any WiFi signals.
4. I look up at device manager and under networks tab, the intel wifi driver is missing, as if the driver was not installed.
5. I trouble shoot and a yellow exclamation mark warning says that, either a network driver or hardware related problem.
6. I want to bring a hammer and smash the laptop into pieces.
I mean this happens so frequently. every time I browse, the network disconnects and the driver disappears, and I have to restart the computer to get it connected again, which you know will disconnect in an hour, if not in the next hour. Thinking it was a faulty network adapter, I bought the intel adapter I mentioned above and still the same problem.
What I used to do before this problem happened was that I used to reset the network adapter as a diagnosis because my laptop used to lose connection because there were many devices connected to the network. So that is my sad story.
