wifi driver for my lap

Bought Dell 3543, using D-Link DSL-2730U Wi-Fi Modem, wi-fi driver is required to connect my lap with modem, as my lap is in another room... Driver software separately for Wi-Fi is needed? where I will get that. even tech person tried..didnt find a solution till now, please help me out...

The tech is an idiot.
You dont need a driver for the router and the driver for the Dell's Wireless-N 1705 wifi card should already be installed.

Make sure the wireless is turned on (in Dell you usually hold down the Fn key and then press the F2 key to turn it on or off) andd then click the bars symbol (like a cellphone signal strength symbol) int he bottom right side of the screen. Locate your wifi and click on it twice to begin connecting. You may need to enter your password
