Wifi driver missing

I just booted up my Asus X441UR, it wasn't connecting to the wifi I've thought I have it off. Once I went to settings the Wifi option is gone...I've installed the right lan driver. What should I do???

Open device manager and locate your Wifi adapter. Right click on it and select “Update Driver”.

It's not there, even when show hidden items

Interesting. Are there any adapters listed? For example, anything to do with LAN?

What do you see in your Network and Sharing settings? Under the Wifi tab, are you able to enable the adapter?

There are Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller and a butch of WAN Miniport. There's only one adapter. I've installed the Realtek Lan drivers from Asus and Realtek but I doesn't shows up

While in device manager, right click on your computer (the one at the top of the list) and click “Scan for Hardware Changes”

This guy had the same issue. Maybe the fixes here will help.
