WIFI drivers not working

i have a new system and i have a usb wireless nic and i cannnot connect to my ATT router the wifi usb adapter is a AMPED wireless UA150C

Hi, try connecting your pc not wireless to the router using an ethernet cable then go to device manager and update the driver for the adapter, using the update from the internet option, the driver may be the prob...

that device is based on Realtek RTL8188SU chipset. last drivers were for windows 7 (with 2012 file dates)

I did not see windows 8 drivers for your actual chip only windows 7. but sometimes you can use the same drivers from a slightly different chipset.
