Hi,

I have a wifi environment of one Motorola NX controller running Wing 5.x and about thirty access points (Zebra). I don't think the global setup is relevant but we have 3 SSID and everything is working great.

As soon as I activate the 5 Ghz band, everything's going mad : We have Dell and Lenovo laptops that are not connecting anymore, or with limited connection, then drops... Samsung phones and some iPhone won't connect anymore. I remove it and everything is working well again.

The radio profile respects Wing 5.x best practices (I think about data rates for both bands). Is there an obvious setup of 5 Ghz band that I am missing or incompatibility that I am not aware of ?

Thank your for your help,
Regards

Yes I activate the 5 Ghz band on one SSID only. The two others keep working fine.

Sorry for my misunderstanding and thank you for this suggestion. I've setup a new SSID with only 5Ghz radio band and put two computers in production to see if it helps.

I'll keep you updated,

So first feedbacks are :
I can connect with my Nexus 5X but the wifi drops and I have "IP address configuration failed" error. Then I connect again and have a limited access with no internet. Then it works again for a couple a seconds and try to get an IP address again. It's the same with a Samsung Galaxy 6.

My coworker has a Lenovo X260 laptop. He saw the SSID disappears and has not seen it again since (he's like 5 meters to the access point).
