Netgear Orbi finally shit the bed this morning. Can't get it to work after multiple resets and power on/off. I'm done trying to fix it every week. Speeds are never the issue when the router worked. Latency and the router failing have always been a problem.

Need a new router AND USB wifi adapter that supports the latest tech in low latency wifi gaming like MU MIMO, beamforming and maybe 802.11ax, wifi 6 if you think it's worth it.

Do not recommend wired connection, mesh routers or anything Netgear.

I have Verizon internet, speeds are 75/75 but it's possible I may get their gigabit plan in the future. I understand wired is always better but it's not possible without remodeling my home.

Router needs to handle multiple consoles, gaming PC (priority), multiple smartphones and tablets and a Nvidia Shield TV streaming 4K HDR.

Would a power line adapter be a better option? I have FiOS internet but Optimum cable TV. I may upgrade to Verizon gigabit but it's also possible I switch to Optimum 100/100.

If there are no interference issues, any recommendations on powerline adapters? I'll still need a router because the Orbi is still dead.

I'm rethinking mesh after learning about Amplifi Gamers Edition and Razer Sila. Worried about these 'gaming' products being nothing more than gimmicks. If they aren't gimmicks then the Amplifi is over because I don't need 2 mesh points and Razer has no security for the router.
