[SOLVED] Wifi in motherboard

Solution
I beg your pardon, are you saying that the intel 9260 card fits in the WIFI m.2 slot?
That is what Intel and ASUS say if you read the specs -- that slot is specifically made for exactly that type of card. ASUS slot is "M.2 Socket (Key E), supports type 2230 Wi-Fi/BT and Intel® CNVi (Integrated Wi-Fi/BT) module," which is exactly the Intel 9260 form factor.

Edit: You will also need to add a pair of antenna wires also though, like THIS or THIS.

Thankyou. And where do I place those antennas ? There doesnt seem to be any pre-configured slot for them

They attach to the card and you can route them out and up the back of the case, depending on which you get and your particular case. Getting them outside of the case if it is metal will extend your range the most but it helps with any material, particularly for 5GHz.

Ohh I see. By any chance, do you know any expansion or pcie cards that maybe has some sort of fixture that the antennas can attach to?
