Question Wifi is sometimes stuck on "obtaining IP address" when I turn on my PC

Connecting automatically it is stuck on "Obtaining IP address"
Manually it says that it is "Not in range"

The modem is ISP provided.
Connections:
Lan 1 : PC1
Lan 2: PC2
Even before there was no router between PC1 I still had this problem.

Multiple devices are connected via wifi and the modem site says it has a limit of 32 devices.
Tried putting a router between PC1 and the modem but I still can't access the Wifi even on the router.

If you have one on hand, try a different wifi antenna, or card.

Is your provided modem a router/modem/access point combo?
if so, you might be better off using that as intended, and using that router you go as an access point or repeater.

ISP modem is a router modem combo.

I don't have any spare antenna of the modem.

I can access the modem+router wifi and router wifi but there are times when after I Turn On my PC1, suddenly I will encounter the said topic problem.
