Wifi issue since downgrading to windows 7.

I've got a Lenovo x230i laptop and I just downgraded it from windows 8 to 7. I'm not that good with technology but to my understanding I should still be able to use wireless internet connections. It is in factory condition, no updates since 2013 or 2014. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

go to the lenova web site for your laptop (see here) and on the bottom of the page there is a drop down list to select Windows 7 32 or 64 bit. YOu can also search by individual components.

Update all the drivers on motherboard to latest, not just the wifi one
