Question Wifi issues after installation of a new GPU and brief overclocking

After the installation of a new Radeon RX 570 and some necessary overclocking, I've been experiencing some issues with the internet connection lately. After performing a checkup on speedtest.net, my download speed has decreased by over 80 Mbps and my ping has skyrocketed.

Through some attempts to fix the issue with a friend of mine who's good with computers, I lost access to the 5G wifi connection that my internet service provides and can no longer see it. However, this only became noticeable after we updated the driver and raised the PCIE clock to 101 (1 above from the previous value). After realizing the issue, I reverted the PCIE value back down to 100 but to no avail.

My network adapter is a TP-Link Archer T6E

Should any additional information be required, I am fully prepared to give it out.

I attempted this a few more times throughout the day and the results remained the same. The only thing I can think of really is the fact that we used a vacuum to clean a bit of the parts, which I read could cause some damage, but my friend claimed that it seemed unlikely due to the fact that the wifi most likely wouldn't work at all if that was the case.

Nevertheless, that still doesn't explain why the 5G wifi just disappeared from my options after changing my PCIE settings and swapping them back to their original states. If anyone has any idea what could've caused that to happen at the very least, then I would be highly appreciative.

In agreement with @failboat with respect to some impact between GPU and wifi adapter.

Will offer some suggestions:

Open the case and ensure that both the wireless adapter and the GPU are fully and firmly in place.

Double check the wireless adapter's antennas. Ensure that they are fully connected and aligned per the documentation.

Windows 10: You can also look in Reliability History and Event Viewer. Either one or both may be capturing some relevant error code or warning.

And you can try running the built-in troubleshooters - the troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Run "sfc /scannow" via the command prompt. Doing so may likewise find and fix something.

Remove either the wireless adapter or the GPU. Then do the same in reverse.

Determine if each component still works without the other being present.

Key is to narrow down the possibilities.

I'd recommend moving your pc and testing it wired and then test wifi while it's next to the wireless.
