[SOLVED] wifi issues when downloading

when trying to update games my wifi will cut out completely after a few minutes, anyone have a fix for me?

Make and model of your wireless router? Make and model of your wireless adapter? If the adapter came bundled with your motherboard, best mention the make and model of your motherboard and the BIOS version it's on at the time of writing. OS version(not edition) if on Windows 10?

i dont think that would help as even witha wireless connection it cut out, the ethernet cable came seperate from the motherboard and i do not know how to check the make of my router or ethernet cable

I think you misunderstood what was being asked, please read again and try answering, look at the bottom of the router, there has to be a make and model on it somewhere!

Are you using the default windows 10 drivers? Or did you go to the motherboard manufacturer website and download the proper drivers? The default windows drivers are trash and often have problems like this.
