Wifi keeps dying

So for the past few days the WiFi keeps disconnecting from every device after some minutes and won't connect until way later, provided a few reboots of the router. Anyone know what the problem may be and how to fix it? It is so annoying

Is the firmware on the modem/router up to date?

try blowing it out may be over heating from dust. if the unit a few years old it telling you the unit ready to kick the bucket.
