Hello

I have Lenovo LNVNB161216 version 8VCN29WW and I am using my Xiaomi Redmi 9 (miui 12.5 ver 12.5.4.0) as a wifi hotstop.
CPU intel core i3 6006U @ 2.00GHz
Memory DDR4 20Gb DRAM Freq. 1064.1 MHz

My Lenovo is running Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2, OS build 19045.3803, which was installed when i bought it.
The name of my wifi hotspot on my phone is 'Krizkazu'
Recently I reseted my phone to default settings.
After the reset of my phone I once more change the name of the wifi hotspot to 'Krizkazu'
I did not change anything on my laptop/notebook
Now when ever i connect my laptop to the wifi hotspot, on the laptop task bar it shows as 'Krizkazu 2' but when i open the laptops settings on tab ' wetwork status it shows 'Krizkazu' which is actually the correct name.
Why is this happening and how can I fix that?
I wouldn't bother asking but after i did all the above i ve been having connection errors like ' no internet' or 'unknow network' or 'no availiable wifi' and then without me doing anything it would connect again as normal.
I hope the above is making some sense as i am not that good with english.
Thank you

It´s windows. All connections are protocolled and if a network´s name is the same but slightly different, like MAC address or anything else, windows just counts up the network connection 2, 3,..... The actual wifi network is not changed by that.

So if you have problems now, it´s a different problem. More likely your phone is not getting a good signal or the phone is not placed in a good spot, so the wifi can work properly.
Eventually updating wifi drivers or updating the BIOS of the laptop can improve connection stability
