Hello, I got a desktop, It used to have an ethernet coord plugged into it but then I reset it too clean up everything for a fresh start. After I reset and moved it to a new room without the ethernet cable it did not work. It is a very nice asus desktop computer and not old at all. I have a red X on a monitor that says "No Connections available" and when I troubleshoot it, it says connect an ethernet coord to it. I plugged in a network adapter, It comes up as "Remote Download Wireless Adapater" and when I update the drivers for the specific wnd3100 driver it usually comes up with an that says like, found drivers to update with but timed out or something along those lines. The network adapters listed in the Device Manager have 2 bluetooth and one ethernet. I have tried to uninstall them restart pc, update drivers, install drivers on usb and transfer them to current pc. Nothing is working.
