[SOLVED] Wifi only giving me 30 megs when hardwired im getting 1000

good afternoon guys i have a question maybe you guys can help me out, i recently upgraded my speeds with frontier from 100 megs to 1000, the only thing is that after i upgraded, im only getting 30 megs on my wifi, back when i was on my old service, i was getting the 100 on my wifi, i thought it was my router so i bought a new one that was 1 gig compatible, and im still getting 30 megs on wifi, has anyone also had this issue before

i did, i was on the phone with them for 2 hours actually and they themselves were stumped, mainly because i was thetting the full gig when i was hard wired

It is most times the end device not the router. Make very sure you are connecting to the 5g radio and not the 2.4. 30mbps would be a little slow for 2.4 but you will never get 100mbps on 2.4 anyway.
