I've decided to upgrade from my old Netgear USB Dongle to try to have a more stable internet connection and tried to install a WiFi Card / GC-WB1733D-I Card into my motherboard using a Riser Card Extender Cable as my GPU is too big and covers the PCI slot, It's my first time using a WiFi card and have tried to make sure it's installed correctly, I've plugged it into my motherboard using the usb cable and Riser Card into the PCI slot, however I'm not sure if it appears in my Device Manager and offers no connection. I've done my best to search for any help for this problem but I'm at a loss and have no idea what the problem may be and have less of an idea for a solution.
I've installed all the drivers I can find, Updated all my Network Adapters in Device Manager, fiddled with the hardware in my PC to make sure it's connected correctly

The devices in my Device Manger - Network Adapters are as follows

Microsoft 6to4 Adaper
Microsoft ISATAP Adapter
Microsoft ISATAP Adapter #2
Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adaper
NETGEAR WNDA3100b2 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter
NETGEAR WNDA3100b2 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter #2
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

OS: Windows 8.1
