Wifi Printers that can print with only black cartridge installed

Hi,

I rarely have to do any printing now and when I do its only ever in black and white so I am looking for another printer that can still print with the colour cartridge totally empty or not even installed, it needs to be wifi.
Do they exist any more?

If you don't need to be able to scan and fax you can still get black and white laser printers.

I've been thinking about a cheap laser, I occasionally need a scanner and would prefer to just have one machine that does everything due to space, think I'll just have to gamble on a inkjet printer and see

they why ask? wasting money is wasting money. i got a cheap brother laser that got me through college with just ONE cheapo refill. cost per page at a staggering .001 cents. you go ahead and give those crooks your money though for the ink, that they won't even fill or let you use all of.

The Brother DCP-L2550DW Wireless Monochrome Laser All-In-One Copier, Printer, Scanner is only $100 at Office Depot. This way you don't have to worry about the ink cartridge being dried out when you go to use it.

Why ask??? Because I wanted an answer to my question, not an alternative.
I asked because I hoped someone would read my question and answer "I just bought a xxxx that can print with black only" That's why I asked

I got a HP 3830 that can indeed print with just the black ink cartridge and no colour cartridge
