Hi guys, i have a problem with this MB. a few days ago, my pc turn on automatically in the night (at 2:00 am) i have disabled Magic package on windows and for some days all it's OK, yesterday i power on my pc and i see a message on boot (windows don't start, it will be rebooted) OK just reboot pc start perfectly and wifi works perfectly, tonight the pc will be power automatically on at 2:00 am! AGAIN! OK i will shut down and i go to sleep.
always today i will startup the pc and i notice, the WIreless not be found from windows! in the bios i see it, but windows don't see the hardware!
Lan and Bluetooth works perfectly
Someone help me?

UPDATE: i have installed a WiFi usb dongle and it works perfectly...
but i don't know why the integrated wireless don't start.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english!

Same here. My z170i wifi module could not be detected since today. In windows settings it says the wifi module's driver is not properly installed. I tried lasted driver from ASUS and also BIOS but they don't work. A usb wifi adapter works fine. I think it has to do with hardware? I'm planning to send it for RMA.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Not really but win defender did not yell at me.
I left the computer on this afternoon and came back at night figured the wifi is not working.

i have solve the problem, this MB don't goes in shutdown but it goes in Suspension Mode.
For fix, disable Smart Power On, in windows 10
New BIOS update don't FIX this problem! everytime i update the BIOS the problem return, and for fix it, you can go this MB in Overclock Warning! i don't know why, but if you send in overclock warning and reboot, the computer going shut down normally

hello Fabio, I have the same Problem. no wifi can be detected. what do you mean with "send in overclock warning"?

Hi, Fist, you disable de suspension mode in win10, second Enable ERP to F8 on the BIOS, after, push the power button for 5 second to shutdown the pc, remove PSU plug, and after turn on. you solve it.

unfortunatly this motherboard have a orrible powersafe system, and when you suspend your pc this mb shutdown the Wireless module. for restart it you must be shutdown the PSU.

QUESTION: what revision you have? my is 1.05

Hello Fabio, I have 1.05 too. Your solution doesnt work very long. But I have found the problem. It is the Ai Tweaker Program from ASUS. I made a clean windows installation without Ai Tweaker and dont have any problems anymore.

Thank you

I had similar problem but with the Bluetooth. One day it decided to not working any more. I tried disabling and installing the drivers again but it didn't work. I thought it was Windows 10 but then I tried in Ubuntu and I had the same issue. Then I when to BIOS and the bluetooth was enabled. So I had no idea what the hell was going on till I get to this threat.

When I read that by basically turn the pc off it should work, I couldn't believe that it could work, but it did!!! That was the solution, JUST TURN IT OFF (disconnect the electricity cable also) AND TURN IT ON!

Thanks for your help!

Wow, unplugging it does work. I have been struggling with the same problem with Bluetooth just completely disappearing from Windows 10 on my Asus Z190 mobo and I never guessed that the Bluetooth module could simply be powered down when everything else is on. For me the problem does not appear to be connected to sleep/hibernation mode though, as both times I lost Bluetooth were times when the computer was in active use. The first time, it occurred when installing a Windows critical update. The second time, it occurred in the middle of playing a game of league of legends. If anyone has a theory on why Bluetooth is turning off at those times, I'd appreciate hearing it.
