Wifi problem on two computers. Works good but disconnects every hour or so

A friend is having a problem with their WiFi. They say about every 30 minutes to an hour a random page will not display and google chrome says the page cannot be connected to. It is happening on two different computers. I do not know a whole lot about the problem yet other than this. I am thinking it could be a worm, something in the wireless settings or even a problem with the browser. Any ideas?
