Just built a new PC with the MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI but I'm unable to get the WIFI to work, even with the driver updates. I've never used a motherboard build in WIFI so maybe I'm doing something wrong?
When I bought it, the box said it has WIFI 7, after some googling I've learned that WIFI 7 only works for Windows 11 and I'm using Windows 10, but the box never said it only has WIFI for Windows 11.
So does it just downscale to WIFI 6 for Windows 10 and I'm just struggling to get it to work? Or does the Motherboard just not have WIFI AT ALL if you use Windows 10?
Like I said, I don't see on the box where it says WIFI ONLY FOR WINDOWS 11, so I'm just confused how the WIFI works on motherboards.
Any and all information in appreciated.
Just to note, in my Device Manager it shows a Network Controller listed under Other Devices that has a yellow ! next to it, but windows can't find a driver for it, and I've updated all the drivers via MSI. I'm using a WIFI USB Adapter at the moment.
