Wifi significantly slower on one device

I just had new internet service installed, it's 50/50 mbps, which is the speed I get when connected with my phone and my friend's computer but not with mine. I think it may be some sort of issue with the network card or adapter in my laptop, can you offer any suggestions? I have a Killer Wireless-N 1103 Network adapter, and my driver version is 9.2.0.320. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.

OP here, never mind, I figured out that my network adapter's drivers were limiting the speed to 10 mbps. Sorry about that.
