WiFi slows majorly down after 1hr of usage

So I had recently bought a WLAN card off newegg https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA76H62A8866, and it seemed cheap so I said why not.

For the first hour everything seems perfect, there's no stutter or anything, but after that hour things are to move rather slow. I ran a speed test and it's download speed is literally 0.1 mbps.

Any help?

It is likely getting quite hot and failing to optimally perform as a result.

I realized I hadn't put the heat spreader on it. But even as I did, it still throttles. I don't know what to do.

It could just be a poor quality device. Poor airflow in your system could impact as well. How many intake and exhaust fans do you have installed?

2x120mm fans. Case fan in the back. Be Quiet fan in the front.
