Wifi speeds drop every 20 seconds

I got a new computer and I first used it with an ethernet cable. Everything worked fine but I was forced to move my computer onto an actual desk just out of range of the cable so I got a wifi adapter. In game I teleport due to this lag spite. I checked the properties and it starts at 144mbs and then drops to 130mbs every 20 or so seconds. I really don't know what to do. Please help :/

Thats the problem with wireless, its very unstable. I would recommend buying some powerline adapters, it uses your house internal wirering as an Ethernet cable and you will get speeds much better than wireless.
