My wifi is suddenly slow even when devices are close to router and modem, ethernet works just fine any solutions?

That is a 2.4Ghz ONLY router. The most likely reason for most people is some kind of interference. 2.4Ghz WIFI is saturated in most areas. You could try an Android app like WIFI Analyzer -- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer&hl=en_US That will allow you to "see" all the competing WIFI signals and find the least congested channel.
If you use WIFI a lot, a new router is probably a worthwhile investment. A dual band AC1900 is the price/performance sweet spot.
