Hey! I recently bought a used computer(The only listed issue was a missing HD, but I replaced it). When I turned it on, the "No connections available" icon was on the wifi icon. I clicked it, and it said wifi off. I checked the switch and it was in the on position. I tried enabling wifi through control panel as I often saw when looking it up. I've ran the troubleshooter, which said wireless capability turned off", However the troubleshooter did not put it back on, and gave no solution. I've tried using different hard drives, and get the same thing. I've reset the bios, and even replaced the WLAN adapter. Still nothing. It does seem to work when I use a usb wifi adapter, but that's it. I've checked the drivers, there were two options, and tried them both, still nothing. The computer is a Dell Vostro 3700 and the wifi adapter is a Dell DW1501 OS= Windows 10 Any ideas? Thanks!

with newer laptops there two ways to turn on wifi cards now on laptops. the funtion key and the icon on the keyboard and on the bottom of the laptop will be another switch to lock the wifi card on or off. to save battery power. with the swich on the bottom on. make sure the wifi led is green. if not try looking for key with the (I) for wifi. most times it f6 or f8 key.

Hmm... I tried pressing all the f keys, and tried again also holding function. Still nothing
