Hi, I have lenovo ideapad z370 with ubuntu 13.10 and windows 7. Few days ago my the wifi switch seemed to stopped to work, though I actually never turned it off. On ubuntu it says, that wifi is disabled by hardware switch. A similar message on windows: turn on wireless capability: use the switch on the front... The switch moves back and forth, but that doesn't do any difference. Fn +F5 also doesn't work. My laptop is 3years old and I didn't have that problem before. What should I do?? Please help!

Exactly the same thing has just happened to me on my Z370. Did you ever get an answer to this? I suspect my wifi card has failed, but I don't know which wifi cards are compatible as apparently Lenovo has a habit of black/white listing cards.
