Hello, I have a problem with my wireless wifi adapter card. On my phone (next to my PC) I run a speed test and get 30mbps +, while on my PC i only achieve 1-5mbps. I think the issue is my wireless adapter. I have a TP-link TL-WN881ND adapter @ 2.4Ghz... I think it because my phone supports 5Ghz and my adapter does not. Do i need a new adapter or is there some setting I can change?

Thanks Ollie

that adapters max speed is 300Mbps so I am not so sure

Wireless N PCI Express 2.0(x1) Adapter TL-WN881ND allows you to connect a desktop computer to a wireless network and access high-speed Internet connection. Comply with IEEE 802.11n, they provide wireless speed up to 300Mbps, which is beneficial for the online gaming or even HD video streaming.

Maybe its the location of PC in relation to router?
