WIFI USB Adapter crashes computer (Bluescreen)

My ZyXEL G-220 Wireless Adapter constantly makes my computer crash into a blue-screen. I figured it out because whenever I take out the USB from the computer, it crashes with similar effect or crashes from very long downloads, for example, torrents. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. If anyone could give me a solution to this, it would be a pleasure.

have you tried updating the USB driver and also the adapter driver? Have you also tried using the adapter on another USB port? If so, there's not much else you can do if it's just faulty. Time to use the warranty and RMA or replace with another one. It's a pretty old and outdated adapter anyhow.

Yes. All the drivers are up to date. And my brother also say's that it crashes his computer aswell when he uses it.
