Question Wifi wire too short

Hey everyone,

I just replaced the top panel (including keyboard) on my HP Pavilion Power laptop, model CB15-035wm. This of course involved removing the motherboard, detaching the myriad wires and cables. When I removed the wifi wires coming from the monitor, they easily reached the wifi adapter on the motherboard. But when I try to reassemble everything the wires don't even reach halfway. The motherboard's the same, the monitors the same. Does anyone have an idea of how to extend them.

They should reach simce you say they are the same. You should take a picture of the internals before changing anything inside.
Just make sure you are routing ot in the correct place.

Yeah, I did. The wires routed over the speakers and along the left side of the motherboard. Now they don't even reach between the speakers. It's almost as if they shrank, which of course is not possible.

Well I feel like real Homer. The monitor faces the keyboard not the motherboard, Dhoh.
