Hello Sue Ann
I was wondering if you already tried troubleshooting the NIC. If not yet, you can:
> Right-click the Network icon in the notification area in the bottom right corner of the screen.
> Click
Troubleshoot problems and let Windows detect and fix any errors the NIC may have.
If that doesn't work, you can check the solutions given
here.
If the problem still persists, you can:
> Right-click the
Start button.
> Go to
Device Manager.
> Expand the
Network adapters tree.
> Right-click the wireless NIC.
> Click
Uninstall from the context menu.
> Reboot the PC.
> Manually install the NIC driver if Windows fails to do so automatically.
This should resolve the issue.
Good Luck!!
