[SOLVED] Wifi wont turn on, no networks availiable

I recently purchased a laptop, the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52, however I can not seem to turn on the wireless, the button short cut (FN+F3) just turns airplane mode on and off,

when I go to the setting and wifi tab and turn on from there, it seem to turn on and the wheel spins round next to the on off slider, but then nothing happens and no networks are displayed. Its like its on but still not.

I have gone to the manufactures website and downloaded and installed the wlan drivers but nothing changed.

I am not sure what to try next.

Did you configure the wireless network adapter to match your network?

Windows 10?

"WIN" + "I" > Network & Internet > Change adapter options
