Wifi works but Wired keeps disconnecting

So I have a Netgear CG3000V2 running in bridge mode into a TP link Archer C7.

When playing online games on a desktop PC or PS4 while wired I constantly disconnect for what must only be a few seconds but it's long enough to kick me from a game.

This doesn't happen when I use wifi with the PS4 or a laptop and my experience is perfect.

The modem is a modem/router combo so I bought the TP link and used that as a router because I thought that would fix the problem but it hasn't.

What could my problem be and how could I fix it?

Solution
Start by looking at your cabling. Are the ends in good shape? Is the cable pinched, crushed, damaged?
In particular check the cabling between the TP link and the Netgear.

From your PC
Run a ping sweep while playing to some site like:
Ping -t 8.8.8.8 > C:\myping_log.txt
You will need to use control C to stop the ping.
You can then go to your C drive and in the root read the myping_log.txt to check for drops.
