Ms recently announced " the surace studio" as a new bold way to connect creatively all round:
boasting a 28inch 12mm touchscreen swivel monitor (actually those screens as a 3 monitor setup would be amazing.) with 40 percent more resolution then actual 4k tv, supportd up to 32 gig of ram ( currently 8gig most likely ddr4.) with 2tb of unknown hdd (most likely 256 ssd) , including a i7 intel core cpu most likey 6(i doubt its a 6700.) also including nvidias 980 gtx (so most likey 3-4gig ram. wow no 1070?) housed in a sleek apple desktop design.
All for $3000
When you do the math it actually isn't a bad price for those wanting to own their own pc and carry it where ever they go inside a enclosed system, not so if your international customer given tax and exchange rates.(but given how people like apple for simplicity others may precieve surace studio as the next best thing leaving the desk top to eventually die off as manufacterers decide whats profitable..)
So could micrsosoft slowly be killing of the pc in the next 10 years with this new way of prebuilt systems that they invision with each new generation that arises ( i personally doubt, but i can see manufactures slowly moving towards seemless picture framed monitors and ways to cash in.)
(I think its a really good machine even better if it had a 1080 eventually in time it will, as i think these were late models introduced.)
The powers in the consumer so i wouldn't buy this but i love the monitor, please asus build it with a wall mount please.
