Will 10 run better on my system?

hello. I have a system with around a 10 year old mother board with 8GB DDR2 400ghz ram, an AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 CPU with a 249GB SSD boot drive and an RX 550 graphics card running windows 7. My question is would my system run better on Windows 10?

What do you mean with better? Better performance, easier to use,...
If it's about performance there will be next to no difference.

I would make the change within the next two years as support for Windows 7 stops on 1/14/2020 (Extended Support).

I had thought about doing it for that reason among others even though I'll lose the ability to play some older games though I debate it because ultimately I'd like to eventually build a modern Ryzen system to do the heavier stuff I like to do and relegate this PC to doing home theater stuff like streaming and watching digital movies for the most part. I suppose though even in that situation win 10 would still be a good upgrade due to support ending for win 7

I haven’t had too many issues playing older games and if there is a issue with Win10 then there’s typically a patch.

If you want a newer os but still the same (if not better backwards compatibility) windows 8.1 is suprisingly really good for that.
