Will 1000Watt enough?

I'm ganna build a new rig:
GPU: gtx 1080ti
CPU: i7-8700k
MOBO: ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero
Memory: 16GB
Sound Blaster Zx (Gaming sound card)
a water cooling kit 240mm(Not decide yet)
fans>6
dvd player.
2x ssd
I do overclocking sometimes. I think 850watt is enough, but I would like more just in case.

650w is enough


850w is overkill



1000w is wasting money

850W will easily suffice
(unless you pick some 20$ FakeTec PSU)

The total watts u will be needing is around 500w. So 850w should be more than enough to overclock and have some spare as well.

overclocked that build will pull about 450w from the wall.
so anything over 650w could be considered a waste.
better to spend the same money on a lower wattage better quality psu. gold/plat/titanium rated...
