Ryzen 5 is a very capable processor line.
For 1080p gaming, you need to pair it with at least GTX1060 6GB to make a decent powerful gaming PC.

That's not accurate at all. I have a 1050ti 4gb and ryzen 5 1400 and I get 40 to 50 fps on most new games on high settings. There is a bottleneck, but apart from those games with terrible optimization I have never seen below 40fps unless I crank up the settings to the max.

The 1060 is the 60fps 1080p card. The 1050 Ti is the inbetween card, between the 1050 and the 1060. So this means if 60fps or greater at 1080p high settings is your goal then the minimum is a 1060. You can boost framerate by dropping settings in most games. So you could still get over 60fps, but it takes some compromising.
