good night, when playing the witcher 3 on max setings (specially in novigrad - full populated area) I experience terrible stuter, and monitoring with msi afterburner I noted 100% cpu use and 50% gpu use, i guess something is strange here, thx.

hardware:
- 1070 strix o8g
- i5 7600k stock 3,8ghz
- b150m
- cx 550m

Solution
First, you should really get a higher resolution monitor when spending that much money on a PC (ideally 2560x1440).

As for the STUTTER, I don't understand why your CPU should be 100%. Witcher 3 runs very smooth for me and I know you don't need a CPU better than what you have.

*My ONLY guess right now would be that you have PhysX set in the NVidia Control Panel to use the CPU, not the graphics card.

If that's not the issue, drop the settings down until your game is smooth. Start low and work yourself up.

**Please report the FPS as well. (though you can have a high FPS reported with constant stutter)

Other:
Make sure your system memory isn't running out. 8GB should be plenty for this game.
