Will 1866Mhz Help Me?

I just recently inherited a new laptop from my step-father, and it only have 4gb of RAM. I plan to upgrade it, but a thought occurred to me; while I checked and 16GB of 1600Mhz RAM is supported, will I get any kind of performance benefit (even if negligible) using higher-bandwidth RAM such as 1866Mhz or higher?

Laptop Model: Acer E5-571P-55TL
CPU: Intel i5-4210U

it likely doesn't support it. even if it does you likely would never be able to tell the difference in day to day or even gaming.
