will 204 Pin DDR3L-1600 PC3-12800 1.35V work in acer aspire one 722 initially installed with 2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM SO DIMM

Does anyone know if the Acer Aspire One 722 will be compatible with 4 GB 204 Pin DDR3L-1600 PC3-12800 1.35V?

It comes installed with 2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM SO DIMM I believe.

The SODIMM of interest is a Kingston model I believe? Using the Memory Search function at Kingston website, there doesn't seem to be a listing for the Acer Aspire One 722 netbook apart from "Acer Aspire One 722 Series (DDR2) AO722-xxx" which is not the correct model(?)

The Kingston SODIMM of interest could be tried anyway and see how it goes. If it doesn't work then it should be RMA'd.

There are other manufacturers of SODIMM's though, and an example and possible alternative choice could be this.
