trying to find out the specs for my case and no one seems to list what I can put in the case on the top they just list the empty slots or the existing fans it comes with. it basically says 230mm top fan, front fan 230mm, side 120mm or 140, and 120/140mm bottom fan.

I am using a Bitfenix Colossus white window and want to purchase a 280mm liquid cooler. I am assuming it can fit a 240mm radiator like nothing but what about a 280mm?

Are you talking about the ATX Colossus or the mitx Colossus? If the former then the case can support a maximum of 2x120mm fans at the top but only can support 1x140 or 230mm fan at the top. This restriction comes about due to the timeframe at which the case was built as there were little offerings from 140 or larger fans and way the case is designed.

You will have to deal with the USB pass through PCB at the top towards the front of the chassis since the radiator will have a thickness of 50+mm when paired with a set of fans.

I'd say it's about time you either modded the chassis(which would mean having to damage the plastic exterior or purchase a new case since today's cases support 280mm radiator setups either up top or at the front(depending on which case you choose) or both.

I forgot they had a mini one I got the ATX one however I forgot to also mention that I got the newer colossus atx case design. they simply fixed a few things on it. I think it will fit the 280mm sadly I already bought it because at the top they have 120 screw holes and then 140 screw holes. so HOPEFULLY it actually fits and if it does I think they only issue I will have is that they will block the cable management in the picture thus I'm going to do it last.

I think if I also take out the drive bays as well it will fit but will have to drill holes to screw it in. saw some reviews on the case the models others had have slight differences if it all goes to hell then I guess I going to a 240mm or smaller and rush deliver that thing
