Hey guys how are you doing?
i have a pc with a gigabyte ga 990xa udr3 motherboard and a phenom iix4 955 processor. I hav 2x2gb 1600mhz patriot ddr3 ram. But my pc is not very good at gaming and lately it started dropnig fps on games. I wanna put 8gb 2x4gb 1600mhz and i found adata 2x4gb sticks for 30 euro or 25gbp around 37 dollars. And yes my mobo supports dual chanelling. I want to put my ram like this.
1.4gb
2.2gb
3.4gb
4.2gb
Will it work?
At the moment the 2 gb sticks are placed like i said the first one on spot number 2 and the 2 one on number 4.
Also i would like to get an fx 8350 and an rx 570 8gb will that be a good idea?
i have a 600w cooler master silent pro psu

It will work just fine, and the configuration you listed will work best. But remember you won’t get the most performance out of your hardware by running mismatch memory modules. All of your sticks will only run as fast as your slowest. And as for dropping FPS, your processor and video card have more to do with that than system memory, but you will notice a difference either way with a decent memory upgrade.
