Will 350W PSU be enough for this build?(Core i5 3570, GTX 1050ti)

hi guys so i wanted to know if 350W psu is enough for my build
motherboard : Asrock P67 Pro 3
cpu:I5-3570 3.4Ghz up to 3.6 ghz
memory: 2x4 gb ddr3 1333 mhz
storage:500 gb
video card: gtx 1050 ti
power supply : 350 W

The minimum system requirements for a GTX 1050 Ti is 300 Watts. It doesn't have additional PCIE power requirements normally (there are a few that do require a single 6-pin PCIE power cable).

There isn't much of a demand for 350 watt power supplies other than OEM replacements. However there are quality power supplies at the 450 watt level and above (like the Seasonic Focus 450 watt).

Good advice from Terry -- and it's always best to leave some overhead anyway when buying a PSU.

PC power supplies are more efficient if they are run near their capacity, e.g. using a smaller power supply at 80% of its capacity will waste less electricity that running a larger power supply at, say 30% of its capacity : https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/psu-buying-guide,2916.html

(but always leave a decent margin of overcapacity for safety - If your PSU is too small, then the "overload protection" will kick in, and switch off the power)


I share BringerOfTea's concern about the quality of your PSU. Rather spend a bit more on this important component, and buy a brand-name 450w PSU.

300 watts is a very wrong and a fictitious number. It draws about 75 watts their no mim watts to run the PC.

Card manufactures should never list a mim power supply since it is only a recommendation they have no clue what the rest of your PC parts are. They should all just list the TDP of the video card.

it should work, if you wanna trust you computer with a no-branded psu. Perhaps bundled with your case?

It's recommended to get a good PSU.

77 watt CPU, 75 watt GPU less than 60 watts for the rest 210 watts or so I would use it and not be worried.
