[SOLVED] Will 3600mhz ram work ok in a b450 tomahawk max ?

Want to get Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB at 3600MHZ. Before I buy it, will it definitely work in that motherboard ?

On the MSI website it says

Supports 2667/ 2800/ 2933/ 3000/ 3066/ 3200/ 3466/ 4000/ 4133 MHz (by A-XMP OC MODE)

My cpu is a 3600 ryzen

It should, but you will need to make sure you're on the latest BIOS version after you get the system to POST, work off of default values(i.e, DDR4-2133MHz). If the rams don't want to go via X.M.P, manually set the timings, frequency and voltage in BIOS.

What processor are you pairing with the motherboard?

Currently have 2x8gb overclocked to 3000mhz.

Fancied an upgrade so I can get some more rgb and ..
I went for 16GB of ram at 3600mhz for a speed increase rather than getting more ram ( 32GB ) as I've monitored my ram usage in games like cyberpunk and it rarely goes above 50% usage.

Does that sound right ?

If it fits ok I'll consider getting two dummy modules for extra rgb
