3d works fine with nvidia cards....but remember it should be a good one if you want to play at 1080p with all eye candy turned on.

I run 2 GTX 470's in sli to run rd with everything turned up. I personally feel that the effect is best in third person games like Darksiders or Deadspace. It is nice in FPS games if you are just playing them for fun but not competitively Battlefield 3and BLOPS2 for instance i cannot play in 3D and keep up. The upshot is in 2D 120 FPS noticibly reduces lag and frees up your videocards potential. I bought an ASUS VG278 back in september and I am completely satisfied with it.
