I use my fx6300 at 4.4GHz stable overclocked with hyper 212evo. Will it bottleneck to sapphire r9 280x? And is my power supply enought( corsair vs550)?

Solution
I doubt it will, but why have such a high end card on a mid range cpu, I have the fx 6300 and its great, but why the big gap in hardware. The TDP is 250 watts so if it does work you will be cutting it really close. I would suggest get a new psu or find another card. The hd 7870 is a great card. Its was able to play bf4 with ultra settings and keep around 60 fps. Its TDP is 175 max load. You would be better off. Hope i helped :)

Thanks for your answers! My PSU gives 504watt from 12v+ canal. My graphic card is sapphire 7870 ghz dual-x. And my system needs like 410watt when %90 load. Should i buy a new psu if i buy r9 280x?
