Will 4770 work with GTX 760?

Solution

32GB RAM is overkill for a system like that ;o. A 760 won't suffer from any bottlenecking if you compare it with a 4770k. 8GB is the minimum you should use with a system like yours, I can imagine that some people go for 16 GB because they use it for editing etc, but 32GB a LOT of RAM, you would gain more performance by upping your GPU for that money =)
I have read many threads on forums where people have suffered bottle necking with 4770K and GTX 760. Is it essential to go with 770 or 780?

I'm trying keep the cost low so I can get 32GB RAM.

My main use is for the Adobe suite of software mainly PS and AE. Also the GPU must be able to use the latest features of Photoshop CC6/CC. I've been advised to either go for the i7 4770K or i7 4930K. Addtional query - is extra memory on the GPU worth it i.e GTX 770 with 4GB?

"vmN" Just rate my build 😀

It looked good, changed a few things:

No need for a K-edition.
Higher speed memory, latency doesn't have the greater impact on general workstation applications.
H87 MOBO because of no overclocking.
No need for a 850w PSU.
