Question Will 500w psu be enough if i upgrade to a gtx 1070?

My current pc specs are
cpu: intel core i5-7400
gpu: evga gtx 950
mobo: gigabyte ga-b250m-ds3h
ram: patriot viper elite series ddr4 8gb
psu: evga 500w 80+ white
hdd: 300gb + 1tb

I want to upgrade my gpu to a gtx 1070 and was wondering if i would need to upgrade my psu?

That EVGA PSU in terms of quality is fairly poor but it can run a 970. Upgrade in the future to a better unit.

Nah, that WHITE model from EVGA is not a very good power supply. It's a low-end budget inferior quality PSU. I won't recommend you to use this power supply, even though it might work, on the GTX 1070.
