Will 500W run a r9 280x

I'm wondering if my Cooler Master i500 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply can run with Asus Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card.
Here are my specs.
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Rosewill Line Glow ATX Mid Tower Case
Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Amd recommend 500w psu for the card though i do not know how reliable psu from cooler master.

Yeah people have been talking about the reliability. How do i know if it is reliable or not? also how could it break? im really careful with my equipment
